Is my video uploaded?

No. The file is read and trimmed inside your browser. We never receive it.

What is the difference between fast and precise?

Fast copies the existing video data, which is quick but can only cut at certain points, so your clip may begin a moment earlier than you chose. Precise re-encodes the video for an exact cut and takes longer.

Why is the output MP4 or WebM?

The clip keeps its source format so it can be trimmed without re-encoding. MP4 sources produce MP4, WebM sources produce WebM.
